First Fridays Downtown

First Friday in Downtown Renton is a reoccurring community event that happens from 5-8pm on the first Friday of each month, every month of the year. First Fridays feature activities, art, dining, and after-hours shopping— perfect for date night, an evening out with friends, or a fun family night. Featured specials and activities provided by Downtown businesses, and free wine tastings for Renton Wine Club members are part of each First Friday!

Renton Night Market

Rain City Catering & Urban Market Present the Renton Night Market! Come down to the Renton Pavilion & Events Center on select Tuesdays from 5:30-9pm to enjoy a night of pop-up vendors, live entertainment, and food trucks. Renton Farmers Market

The Renton Farmers Market was established in 2002. The volunteer group Piazza Renton was one of the driving forces behind the formation of the Market and is still involved today. The City of Renton and Piazza Renton work together to execute each market, and work year round to create an amazing Farmers Market for the community and visitors to Downtown Renton. Visit the Market June through September every Tuesday between 3 and 7pm.

Renton Wine Walk

The Renton Wine Walk is the perfect event for wine connoisseurs or those just starting to discover the world of wine. Sample from over 20 different wines as you stroll through the downtown businesses and chat with the winemakers as they pour their select choices.

Renton River Days

Renton River Days is an annual multi-day family festival and celebration of community pride, joining residents, businesses, organizations, and Puget Sound tourists together for a wonderful variety of events, special features for kids, arts and crafts, recreation, food, and stage entertainment at Liberty Park and Cedar River Park.

Multicultural Festival

The Renton Multicultural Festival is presented by the City of Renton in partnership with the Mayor’s Inclusion Task Force and several local community groups and organizations. For two days in September, the City of Renton will come alive with the sights and sounds of one of the most diverse populations in the country as the city presents the second annual Renton Multicultural Festival, a celebration of diversity and community. The festival went virtual in 2020, but stay tuned for the announcement of the 2022 Festival dates.

Summer Concert Series

Attend a summer concert in downtown featuring talented local bands. Held at Piazza Park (and from the top of the City Center Parking Garage!) on select Thursdays in July and August, the concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Olde Fashioned Halloween Party & Downtown Trick-or-Treat Event

Bring your little monsters, princesses, superheroes, and witches to trick-or-treat at more than 30 businesses in downtown Renton the Saturday before Halloween. The trick-or-treat route starts in the alley on Main Street, (entrance across from GHY Bikes) with FREE activities for kids, including face painting, apple cider, and a photo booth!

Small Business Saturday and Downtown Tree Lighting

The Downtown will come alive with traveling entertainment and live music. Start your holiday shopping by supporting local businesses and participate in scavenger hunts and giveaways all day long!

Santa House

Free photos with Santa the first three Saturdays in December! Print outs are available for a suggested donation and your fur babies are welcome as well!

Renton Pavilion Event Center

The Renton Pavilion Event Center is located in the heart of downtown Renton, just 15 minutes from Seattle and Seatac Airport. We’re situated close enough to the city to remain at a convenient traveling distance, but far enough away to avoid the hassle of limited parking. At 10,000 square feet, the event center can be designed as the perfect space for both large and intimate events.


Summerfest is a free appreciation event designed to recognize the dedicated residents of Renton and bring the community together for a day of fun and celebration.
