Build a better downtown

Since 2015 the Renton Downtown Partnership has been cultivating a more socially, culturally, and economically vibrant downtown. Each year, we utilize a work plan to perform various projects in the downtown area including volunteer clean-ups, beautification projects, and producing community-focused events that the entire family can enjoy.

These events take place throughout the year and attract various ages and interest groups. This year we are establishing new events, building on our most successful ventures, and are looking for partners who can provide financial support.

Engaged Community

We believe that when we work together, we can benefit everyone involved. We believe that by partnering with us you can grow your business and set yourself apart as a good neighbor. When you help strengthen the heart of the city it leads to a better economy for all businesses.

If you are interested in sponsoring or learning more about our sponsorship opportunities, please contact us at [email protected] or contact our Executive Director, Josh Shulkind at 971-599-1667.

Are you a business wanting to participate in the B&O Tax Credit Program?

HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY GET THE TAX CREDIT?

  • Businesses must be registered to file their state excise tax electronically.
  • A donation request must be filled out and submitted online, but don’t worry – it’s easy! Here’s the link. And this link is the step-by-step instructions.
  • The donation can be spread out throughout the calendar year. Apply through DOR between January 10 and March 31 to guarantee your business will receive the credit. Once confirmed, the pledged amount must be paid in full to the Renton Downtown Partnership between January 10 and November 15, 2023, to receive the tax credit in 2024.
  • Businesses must take the tax credit the year after the donation is made – the tax credit can’t be carried forward and there won’t be a refund for any credit above and beyond a business’s tax liability.

IMPORTANT: Before making a donation, be sure to pledge your amount on the Department of Revenue Site above.

Payments to the Renton Downtown Partnership can be made through the “Donate Here” buttons below, requesting an invoice to be paid online, or by check.
