All of our programs and events are strategically planned and crafted to utilize the Main Street 4 pillar approach to make downtown a thriving, vibrant place for everyone.

  • Design programs focus on enhancing the appearance of our commercial district, from historic building restorations to landscaping, street furniture, and signage. Join us in crafting a beautiful, inviting space that residents and visitors love to explore.

    Programs:

    Keeping Up Appearances

    Purpose: To maintain and upkeep the physical appearance of downtown Renton.

    • Work w/ City on Downtown Physical Appearance projects

    Event/Activity: Facade Gran; Qtrly Clean Up Events; Sourcing funding for any other DT cosmetics

    Keeping our History: DT Renton (overlaps with Promotions)

    Purpose: To preserve and teach the history of our Downtown community.

    Event/Activity: History Walk (plaque initiative)

  • Our Promotions programs focus on creating excitement and drawing foot traffic to our streets. These programs focus on bringing events downtown and creatively storytelling through marketing, events and collaboration.

    Programs include:

    Heritage in the Heart of Renton

    Purpose: To celebrate the different backgrounds, cultures, and interests in our Renton community. We produce events internally or support other organizations to bring their events downtown to celebrate.
