Take a Stand Against Cyberbullying – Renton History Museum

September 14, 2019 @ 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

$2 – $5

Did you know cyberbullying and lack of sleep–both linked to social media use–represent 60% of teens’ psychological distress? And that suicide is now the 2nd leading cause of death among kids aged 10 to 18? Join us as Dr. Michelle Bennett, Sammamish Police Chief, leads a workshop for parents and educators on the topic of cyberbullying. Dr. Bennett will explain how cyberbullying happens, the effects it can have on children, and most importantly, what you can do about it.

Kids 10 and older are welcome to attend. $5 for adults / $2 for kids / Renton History Museum members always FREE.
