Naturopathic Medicine:
Naturopathic medicine is a holistic system of medicine that uses diet and lifestyle modification, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, physical manipulation and counseling to help people heal on a mental, emotional and physical level, and also to prevent disease.
Naturopathic physicians attend a 4 year accredited medical school similar to a conventional medical school, but with extensive training in the treatment modalities listed above.
Naturopathic physicians are licensed in Washington State as primary care physicians and are able to accept insurance. They can order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging tests and can also prescribe a wide range of prescription drugs, if needed.

Homeopathic medicine in a holistic approach that has been used by millions of people for over 200 years to treat mental, emotional and physical conditions. Homeopathy treats the person with the disease, instead of treating the disease itself, which makes homeopathic medicine very individualized.

About Me
I continually find myself amazed by the beauty, resiliency and courage of the human spirit. Regardless of what people face, I see them seeking to overcome their past and live into their present and future with more freedom and fullness. It is a privilege to journey with people as they discover their own beauty and strength.
I received my degree in Human Services from Western Washington University and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Additionally, I have completed the Lifespan Integration (LI) Beginning and Advanced level trainings and am an LI practitioner with 40 hours of training in domestic violence. I have had the privilege of working with homeless and at-risk youth and women recovering from addiction and domestic violence for the past 10 years. Most recently, I counseled with Seattle Therapy Alliance working with women experiencing depression, anxiety and trauma. My experience, in addition to my training, has shaped the way I work with clients.
I am also shaped by my Christian faith, particularly in my understanding of healing and transformation. While my worldview is formed through this lens, I counsel many clients of different faith backgrounds. I seek to understand clients’ world view and how that shapes their hopes and goals. I allow clients to bring up spirituality if they would like to make it part of our work together. My license number is MC60350042.

Lifespan Integration
Lifespan Integration (LI), a gentle body-based therapy that focuses on integrating the mind-body system for healing without re-traumatizing. Peggy Pace, the founder of LI describes it in this way: “LI is body-based, and combines active imagination, the juxtaposition of ego states in time, and a visual time line of memories to facilitate neural integration and rapid healing.” This process allows clients to integrate difficult experiences into their lives and let go of outdated defense mechanisms. Psychodynamic Therapy
At the foundation of Psychodynamic theory is the belief that our deepest healing and hurt happen in the context of relationship and that the therapeutic relationship can provide a space for new relational patterns to form and healing to take place. Through an exploration of relational patterns, protective mechanisms and unresolved hurts we will be able to understand and reframe your experiences with the goal of self-acceptance and increased freedom.
While I primarily practice using Lifespan Integration and Psychodynamic Therapy I use other modalities if they will help clients move toward their goals.
